About Jeffrey Gibson
Jeffrey Gibson's artworks make reference to various aesthetic and material histories rooted in Indigenous cultures of the Americas, and in modern and contemporary subcultures. He is a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and is half Cherokee.
