LACMA x Apply: Cloisonné

LACMA has long been an inspiration to Apply. One of our first sticker sheets, Jewelry Box, was designed with many pieces residing in their remarkable collection. So when we had the opportunity to collaboratively reimagine their incredible trove of Japanese cloisonné (a form of bright & colorful enamelware – like painted gems), we were thrilled. Although historical (100+ years old), the examples of cloisonné found in Birds, Butterflies & Flowers sparkle & shine as if they were burnished yesterday.
