Eliza Douglas

Eliza Douglas lives and works in Berlin & New York where her career flourishes as not only a visual artist but also as a musician, performer, and model (for Balenciaga and Vetements). Within her "meta paintings" she interrogates the circulation of images that touch on pop culture, fashion and art history, to question both the production and reception of painting in our century.

For this collaboration she has generously offered to donate her royalty to Contemporary Art Library, an important non-profit digital archive preserving critical exhibition records of art history today, a resource shared with the public for free. At Apply we believe in supporting the arts and are honored to match Eliza's generous contribution to this worthy cause.
