Rob Pruitt

Rob Pruitt

Rob Pruitt's work is playful and varied, drawing on pop culture, politics & art history with a sense of wry curiosity. For example his work explores his own personal, seemingly limitless interest in pandas, color field "Suicide" paintings, to 2,922 portraits of former president Barrack Obama (one for each day he was in office), and even a seven foot chrome statue of Andy Warhol, commissioned by The Public Art Fund, New York for Union Square. Moreover, he loves stickers!

In this collaboration he has generously offered to donate his royalty to Contemporary Art Library, an important non-profit digital archive preserving critical exhibition records of art history today, a resource shared with the public for free. At Apply we believe in supporting the arts and are honored to match Rob's generous contribution to this worthy cause.
